A one-day orientation program on Bagmati PROSCUN Services has been conducted on Saturday, 8 Ashwin, 2079 in the auditorium of Choice Hotel, Swyambhu, Kathmandu. The program was held in the chairmanship of Mr. Prakash Shrestha, Senior Vice President of Bagmati Province Federation of Saving and Credit Cooperative Union Ltd. (Bagmati PROSCUN). The program was attended by representatives of more than 25 initial savings and credit cooperatives within Nagarjuna Municipality in Kathmandu District.

Gopal Prasad Dulal, program officer of the association, gave a presentation on the significance of the program, the introduction of the association and the main activities and progress of the previous fiscal year (2077-078), the strategic plan of the federation and A to Z services of Bagmati PROSCUN. Mr. Prakash Shrestha, the chairman of the program, answered the questions of the participants about the current challenges of the cooperative movement and the measures to be adopted by the federation. He also assured the participants that the federation will take all the possible steps for the crisis settlement and policy making for strengthening cooperative movement.
